BUZZ-Sunac China slips as January-April contracted sales value dips

** Shares of Chinese property developer Sunac China Holdings Ltd slip 3.8% to HK$1.26, lowest since April 29

** Sunac says its April contracted sales value amounted to 12.45 bln yuan ($1.72 bln), up 54.5% from 8.06 bln yuan contracted sales value in the same period a year ago

** However, its contracted sales value for the first four months of 2024 totalled 22.45 bln yuan, down 39.9% from 37.33 billion yuan in the same period a year ago

** The Hang Seng Mainland Properties Index falls 3.1%, while the Hang Seng Index adds 0.1%

** Sunac stock down 15.3% YTD
