BUZZ-Copper miners climb as red metal hits two-year high

** U.S.-listed shares of copper miners rise premarket, tracking prices of the red metal, aided by a weaker U.S. dollar and bullish demand outlook

** Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange $(LME.UK)$

hits highest level since April 2022; was up 2.1% at $10,320 per metric ton by 1001 GMT

** Shares of mining giants Rio Tinto and BHP Group each rise 1.2%

** Southern Copper and Freeport-McMoRan gain 2% and 1.7%, respectively

** Canadian miner Hudbay Minerals rises 2.4%

** U.S. shares of Teck Resources gain 2.7% after CEO Jonathan Price said co expects to generate an annual core profit of $3 billion if copper prices stay around current levels
