Singapore Airlines Likely Nearing End of Exceptional Performance -- Market Talk

Dow Jones05-17

0726 GMT - Singapore Airlines is likely nearing the end of its exceptional performance after posting record earnings for FY 2024, OCBC Investment Research analyst Ada Lim says in a research report. Although SIA's forward demand is still healthy, aided by strong uptick in forward bookings to North Asia and Southeast Asia, management cautioned that passenger yields will probably continue moderating as capacity increases, particularly in the region, Lim says. After considering factors including some adjustments to its earnings forecasts for SIA, OCBC trims the stock's fair value estimate to S$7.53 from S$8.00 with an unchanged hold rating. Shares are unchanged at S$6.73. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
