The9 Unit Gets Publishing License for Mir M PC, Mobile Game in China

The9 (NCTY) said Friday its China Crown Technology unit signed an exclusive licensing deal with Wemade to publish the mobile and PC versions of the Mir M game in China.

The commercial launch is expected early next year, and the license period is five years with the possibility of a one-year extension, the company said.

The game may include blockchain technology in accordance with China's laws and regulations, subject to further agreement between the companies, The9 said.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

The9 shares fell 6.9% in recent trading Friday.
