Chinese battery recycler GEM (SHE:002340) signed a cooperation agreement with Hubei Supply and Marketing Group and Huishuige (Wuhan) Internet to establish two digital recycling platforms, the company said in its filing Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The platforms will use technologies, such as the Internet of things, big data, cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
The alliance of companies will recycle new energy vehicles, power batteries and photovoltaic panels. An NEV and battery recycling base was established in the Gucheng Base Park in Central China, with the business controlled and operated by GEM, the Thursday filing added.
