** Iron and steel producer says it executed binding transaction documents with global energy transition development platform Amp Energy to facilitate development of AMP's Cape Hardy Advanced Fuels Project in South Australia

** Co to receive A$2.5 mln ($1.66 mln) in deposit, with AMP securing an option to buy 630 hectares of co's Cape Hardy Industrial Port Precinct land for A$15.5 mln

** 577,875 shares changed hands by 0316 GMT, 6.9 times the 30-day average volume of shares

** Stock has risen 14.93% this year as of last close
