ParaZero Technologies Gets Safety Systems Order for Heavy-Lift Cargo Drones

ParaZero Technologies (PRZO) will design and deliver customized safety systems for heavy-lift cargo drones produced by an unnamed company from the United Arab Emirates under a new partnership between the companies announced on Tuesday.

ParaZero is expecting to adapt its autonomous SafeAir parachute recovery system to mitigate flight risks for the customer's pilot-less delivery aircraft. When triggered, ParaZero's onboard computer activates the SafeAir system to cut power to the drone and deploys a lightweight parachute that carries the drone to the ground.

The SafeAir system also sounds an audible alarm alerting people below the drone's controlled descent. Financial terms and other details of the contract were not disclosed.
