Air New Zealand's Passenger Count Rises 2.2% in April

Air New Zealand (NZE:AIR, ASX:AIZ) said the number of passengers carried in April rose 2.2% from a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the New Zealand bourse.

Revenue passenger kilometers rose 4.8% on year last month, while passenger load factor was unchanged at 82.4%.

Year-to-date, the group’s revenue per available seat kilometer was down 13.7%, including the impact of foreign exchange, according to the filing.
