Zixin Group Swings to Profit in Fiscal H2 as Revenue Nearly Doubles

Zixin Group Holdings (SGX:42W) swung to profit in the fiscal second half ended March 31 after revenue almost doubled from a year earlier due to higher sales of sweet potato products, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The potato farming company's profit attributable to owners was 16.8 million yuan, reversing a loss of 14.2 million yuan in the prior year.

Revenue for the six months ended March 31 climbed 92% year over year to 201.3 million yuan from 104.8 million yuan, the filing said.

The company's shares jumped almost 6% in recent Friday trade.
