Straco's Q1 Attributable Profit More Than Triples on Pandemic Recovery

Straco's (SGX:S85) profit attributable to shareholders more than tripled in the first quarter, with the Singapore Flyer ride fully operational as the business environment recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The operator of tourist attractions posted an attributable profit of SG$5 million, up over 213% from SG$1.6 million a year earlier.

Revenue for the three months ended March 31 climbed past 38% year over year to SG$17.3 million from SG$12.5 million, the filing said.

As of the end of March, the company had net cash holdings of SG$169.78 million.
