Metech International Shareholders Withdraw Proxy

MT Newswires05-29

Some Metech International (SGX:V3M) shareholders withdrew their proxies opposing an ordinary resolution passed at the company's extraordinary general meeting on May 11, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The proxies, representing 5.8 million shares, were submitted through CGS International Securities.

The proxy withdrawal letter was received after the EGM, and the resolution would have been approved regardless of the action, the diamond producer said in the filing.
