A former director at Metech International (SGX:V3M) is seeking reinstatement in a recently filed originating claim with the High Court of Singapore, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore bourse.
Ng Cheng Huat was removed from his position as non-executive, non-independent director at the end of the extraordinary general meeting held on May 11.
Ng is seeking a court order to reinstate him to the position within five days of the order and declare that the meeting was invalid, the filing said.
A case conference hearing will be held on June 13.
