Addvalue Technologies, Space Inventor Partner to Deploy IDRS Comms for Space-Based Maritime Surveillance

Addvalue Technologies (SGX:A31) and Danish satellite engineering company Space Inventor have signed a partnership that will see the two companies deploy an IDRS Comms Tech for an AI-powered Bifrost In-Orbit Demonstrator mission in 2025, according to a release filed with Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.

The technology, which is commissioned by the Danish Ministry of Defense, will carry out space-based surveillance of Arctic region around greater Denmark through multispectral imaging, radio signals and AI over edge processing.

The technology will also provide early warning for defense and coastguard authorities.

The on-board tech also includes Addvalue-IDRS i100 transceiver and antenna along with an MSI multispectral imager, an EMS RF receiver and a Unibap iX5-100 Payload Processing Unit.
