Hakuhodo DY Holdings' Attributable Profit Down 20% in Fiscal 2023

Hakuhodo DY Holdings’ (TYO:2433) profit attributable to owners of the parent slid 19.6% to 24.92 billion yen in the fiscal year ended March 31, from 31.01 billion yen a year ago as lower revenue was impacted by extraordinary loss and tax expenses.

The media company's revenue slipped 4.5% to 946.78 billion yen from 991.14 billion yen a year earlier, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.

It forecasted an attributable profit of 15 billion yen and revenue of 1 trillion yen for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.

The company expects to pay a total dividend of 32 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
