Cisco Systems (CSCO) on Wednesday unveiled the first of its technology integrations with Splunk following its $28 billion acquisition of the data analytics company.
The company unveiled a "unified observability experience" for joint customers, launching Splunk Log Observer Connect for Cisco AppDynamics and Cisco AppDynamics integration with Splunk IT Service Intelligence, or ITSI.
Cisco said new observability innovations include an artificial intelligence assistant for AppDynamics, expanded software-as-a-service hosting on Microsoft Azure, and advanced artificial intelligence in Splunk ITSI.
"Through Cisco and Splunk's new integrations and innovations, customers gain unified visibility across their entire digital footprint," the company said.
Shares of Cisco were down 2.7% in recent trading.
