Firetail Resources (ASX:FTL) will acquire up to 80% of Cyprus-style volcanogenic massive sulphide exploration project York Harbour project in Canada, the miner said in a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The project has 189 contiguous claims of highly prospective geology, hosting the historic, high-grade York Harbour copper mine, the filing said.
Shares of Firetail Resources jumped more than 117% in recent trade.
