China Ruyi Raises HK$4 Billion via Share Placement For Film, Gaming Expansion

China Ruyi Holdings (HKG:0136) has completed share subscription agreements, raising a total of HK$4 billion to support its film and gaming businesses, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The company secured HK$800 million through a specific mandate subscription with Water Lily, while a further HK$3.2 billion was raised through independent subscriber share subscription agreements under a general mandate. Both sets of subscriptions involved the issuance of shares at HK$1.60 each.

China Ruyi Holdings extended the longstop date for its Million Succeed share subscription agreement to June 5. This extension provides additional time to finalize the agreement.
