Singapore Shares Remain Flat Despite Overnight Gains in Global Markets; Seatrium Down 1.7%

Singapore's Straits Times Index remained flat on Thursday despite overnight gains in the global markets led by technology stocks.

During the day, the benchmark Singapore Strait Times Index ranged between 3,330.27 and 3,351.86, ending 0.02% or 0.8 points higher at 3,330.81.

Zheneng Jinjiang Environment Holding (SGX:BWM) shares were up nearly 3% after it repurchased 50,000 shares in the open market for a total consideration of SG$17,902 on Wednesday.

Shares of Hyphens Pharma (SGX:1J5) were up nearly 2% after its subsidiary, Hyphens Pharma Pte entered into an exclusive license, development and commercialization agreement with Maruho for the rights to register and commercialize Amenarelief Tab 200mg in 10 ASEAN countries.

Yangzijiang Financial (SGX:YF8) shares were up nearly 2% after its maritime fund entered into a strategic partnership with Alpha Omega Marine to acquire eco-friendly dry bulk vessel.
