Mithril Resources (ASX:MTH) encountered gold and silver from a recent diamond saw channel sampling program at the Copalquin gold-silver project in Mexico, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program yielded up to 3.5 meters at 8.3 grams per tonne grade of gold and 239 g/t silver, the miner said in the filing.

Shares of Mithril Resources fell 7% in recent trade.
