China Taiping Insurance Holdings (HKG:0966) subsidiary Taiping Life Insurance intends to repurchase up to 15 billion yuan of its outstanding capital supplementary bonds issued in 2021 and 2022, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The proposed buyback has been approved by the relevant regulatory authorities, the filing stated.
