Conduent (CNDT) said Monday it repurchased shares from investor Carl Icahn through some of his affiliates for $3.47 per share, amounting to an aggregate of about $132 million.
The Icahn affiliates no longer hold any Conduent shares following the purchase, the company said.
Conduent said it funded the purchase with cash on hand and existing credit facilities.
Hunter Gary, Jesse Lynn and Steven Miller, all employed by Icahn's affiliates, have resigned from Conduent's board of directors in relation to the transaction, the company said.
