China Taiping Insurance's Unit to Buy Back Up to 15 Billion Yuan Bonds

China Taiping Insurance Holdings Company (HKG:0966) unit Taiping Life Insurance will repurchase up to 15 billion yuan worth of outstanding capital supplementary bonds, according to a Wednesday filing on the Hong Kong bourse.

The company plans to repurchase bonds issued in 2021 and 2022. The repurchase will help the company further optimize its capital structure, the filing noted.
