John Wiley & Sons' Adjusted Q4 EPS Rises, Revenue Declines; Provides 2025 Guidance; Shares Jump Pre-Bell

John Wiley & Sons (WLY) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings Thursday of $1.21 per diluted share, compared with $1.19 a year earlier.

One analyst surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.81.

Revenue for the quarter ended April 30 was $468.5 million, compared with $526.1 million a year earlier. One analyst surveyed by Capital IQ expected $438.7 million.

For fiscal year 2025, the company said it expects adjusted EPS to be in a range of $3.25 to $3.60. One analyst surveyed by Capital IQ is expecting $3.10.

Shares of the company were up 12% in recent premarket activity.
