Coca-Cola (KO) and Starbucks (SBUX) have submitted applications for re-registration of trademarks in Russia, multiple news outlets reported Friday, citing documents on the Russian intellectual property agency Rospatent's website.
Coca-Cola filed three trademark applications in April, while Starbucks filed eight similar applications in May, the reports suggested.
Coca-Cola, Starbucks and Rospatent did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
