Soilbuild Lands $647.5 Million Construction Contract; Shares Soar 100%

Soilbuild Construction (SGX:S7P) bagged a construction contract worth $647.5 million, taking its order book beyond $1.2 billion, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.

The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, SB Procurement has been awarded a contract to build a PSA Supply Chain Hub at the Tuas Port in Singapore.

The development is expected to support the port in achieving the Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy, an eco-sustainable rating for a building under the Building & Construction Authority (BCA)’s Green Mark Certification Scheme.

The project is slated for completion by the third quarter of 2027.

Shares of the construction company soared 100% in recent trading.
