BEIJING, June 14 (Reuters) - China's Chengxin Lithium's Indonesia susidiary PT. ChengTok Lithium entered into trial production earlier this week.
With an annual production capacity of 60,000 metric tons, PT. ChengTok Lithium is Chengxin's first lithium salt production base and also its largest ore-to-lithium production project, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The Indonesia unit will help to increase its production capacity of lithium salt to 137,000 metric tons, it said.
