Satisfaction Period for Conditions Precedent for Gas Supply Agreement at Mereenie Gas Field Extended to July 31

The condition precedent date of a gas supply agreement with Central Petroleum (ASX:CTP), Horizon Oil (ASX:HZN), New Zealand Oil & Gas (ASX:NZO, NZE:NZO) and Cue Energy's (ASX:CUE) joint venture at the Mereenie gas field in Australia's Northern Territory has been extended by one month to July 31, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The three-year agreement with Arafura Rare Earths (ASX:ARU) is to supply up to a combined 27.4 petajoules of natural gas from 2026 with a two-year extension option. Terms include take or pay provisions and conditions precedent regarding the development of Arafura's Nolans rare earths project being met, according to a Feb. 12 filing.
