Guangzhou Tinci Materials Technology (SHE:002709) agreed to supply raw materials for electrolyte products to lithium battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology (SHE:300750), according to Tinci's filing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The Chinese electrolytes producer will provide 58,600 tons of solid lithium hexafluorophosphate to CATL through its unit, Ningde Kaixin Battery Materials, until Dec. 31, 2025, the Monday filing added.
Tinci's shares fell more than 2% in recent trade.
