Ascent Bridge Seeks Extension to Publish Annual Report, Hold AGM

MT Newswires06-19

Ascent Bridge (SGX:AWG) has filed a request to delay the publication of its annual report and the holding of its annual general meeting, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.

The company cited its ongoing rights issue process as the reason for the extension. Ascent Bridge had proposed a rights issue of up to 87,072,231 new shares in December 2023, which shareholders approved in May 2024.

To finalize the rights issue, Ascent Bridge plans to hold an extraordinary general meeting by August. Since the completion of the rights issue is necessary before the auditors can sign off on the annual report, Ascent Bridge has requested an extension for both the report's publication until Sept. 13, and the AGM until Sept. 30.
