Uber-Backed Self-Driving Startup Waabi Raises $200 Million in Series B Funding Round

Uber Technologies (UBER) backed self-driving startup Waabi said Tuesday it has raised $200 million in a Series B funding round.

Waabi said the new funding brings total investment in the company to more than $280 million, which will support the deployment of driverless and generative AI-based autonomous trucks in 2025.

The funding round, led by Uber and Khosla Ventures, included contributions from Nvidia (NVDA), Volvo Group Venture Capital, and Porsche Automobil Holding SE, among others, Waabi said.
