2323 GMT [Dow Jones]--Australia's S&P/ASX 200 looks set to rise at the open as investors wait on the Reserve Bank of Australia's latest interest-rate decision. ASX futures are up by 0.4% ahead of the RBA meeting, at which economists expect the cash rate to be held at 4.35%. U.S. stocks provided a positive lead, with tech stocks sending the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite to records. The S&P 500 added 0.8%, the Nasdaq rose 1.0%, and the DJIA gained 0.5%. Ahead of the ASX open, oil-and-gas producer Beach Energy said it could sell a trio of non-core assets as it aimed to cut costs following a strategic review. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
