GrainCorp Supports Federal Government Consultation on Renewable Fuels Future

Commodity trading company GrainCorp's (ASX:GNC) managing director and CEO Robert Spurway agreed with the Federal Government's acknowledgment of the importance of sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel in reducing carbon emissions across Australia's transport industries.

The consultation aligns with the broader budgetary commitment of the AU$22.7 billion Future Made in Australia package, aimed at accelerating investment and commercializing renewable initiatives in key industries, GrainCorp said last week.

Shares of GrainCorp fell over 1% at market close.
