Sector Update: Financial Stocks Lean Lower Pre-Bell Tuesday

Financial stocks were leaning lower pre-bell Tuesday with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) down 0.1% recently.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 0.1% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.3% higher.

Blackstone (BX) made more than a 275 billion yen ($1.74 billion) bid to acquire Japanese digital comic provider Infocom, multiple media outlets reported, citing Infocom. Blackstone shares were 0.7% higher premarket.

KKR (KKR) and Singtel said they will invest 1.75 billion Singaporean dollars ($1.29 billion) in ST Telemedia Global Data Centers through a consortium. KKR stock was up 0.1% pre-bell.

Brookfield (BN) priced a public offering of $450 million of 5.675% senior notes due 2035 and a $200 million re-opening of its 5.968% notes due 2054. Brookfield shares were 0.2% higher in recent premarket activity.
