China Mobile (HKG:0941, SHA:600941) recorded 502.6 million 5G network customers in May, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
According to the filing, the 5G network customers represent the number of mobile customers who used the 5G network in May. The telco previously reported 5G package customers instead of 5G network customers.
In May, the wireless carrier added 1.08 million mobile clients and 1.1 million wireline broadband customers, bringing the total to 998.4 million and 307.5 million users, respectively.
