Garmin (GRMN) said Monday that it has named Patrick Desbois and Brad Trenkle to the newly established position of co-chief operating officer, effective July 1.
Desbois will oversee Garmin's aviation and auto OEM segments among others, the company said, while Trenkle will manage the consumer business segments, among other areas.
Garmin said Desbois was most recently the company's executive vice president of operations, while Trenkle served as vice president of the company's outdoor unit.
