Disa (SGX:532) announced today that its unit, Digital Life Line (DLL), has signed a memorandum of understanding with Medical Saigon Group (MSG) to trial the deployment of its automated visual acuity test device (AVAT) and AI-based retinal imaging (AI-VI) solution at MSG hospitals in Vietnam, a same-day filing on the Singapore Stock Exchange confirmed.
The partnership aims to improve eye care services by integrating DLL's technology, developed by top institutions in Singapore. MSG operates 13 hospitals nationwide, including eight specializing in ophthalmology.
AVAT, a portable device designed for efficient and accurate self-testing of visual acuity, will help address staff shortages and space constraints in community and tertiary care settings.
Meanwhile, AI-VI, an AI-based retinal imaging solution, can quickly detect visual impairments, facilitating early intervention and improved patient outcomes.
