NEW YORK, June 20 (Reuters) - HF Sinclair's 162,000-barrel-per-day (bpd) refinery in El Dorado, Kansas is running at lower rates due to repairs, sources familiar with the matter said on Thursday.
One of the sulfur recovery units $(SRU.SI)$ at El Dorado went down two weeks ago following a reactor issue caused by storms. All units at the facility ran at minimum rates during repairs, sources said.
SRUs are used to recover sulfur-containing gas in the oil refinery process.
Operations at the facility are expected to be back to normal by end of next week, sources said.
The company did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
