Strategic Energy Resources Commences Gravity Survey at Queensland Project

MT Newswires Live06-24

Strategic Energy Resources (ASX:SER) commenced a ground gravity survey at the Canobie project in northwest Queensland, according to a Monday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

The survey aims to infill the entire tenement area with high-resolution gravity data, with approximately 3,500 new stations at 500-meter spacing. It is expected to take approximately a month to finish with the modeling of the gravity data to be available in the third quarter, the filing said.

In order to improve the exploration model and rank new drill targets ahead of further drill testing, the new gravity data will be examined alongside the current datasets across the project area, the company said.

The project is being explored under a farm-in and joint venture with FMG Resources, a subsidiary of Fortescue (ASX:FMG), according to the filing.
