Kali Metals (ASX:KM1) found pegmatites from a recent rock chip sampling program at the Jingellic project in New South Wales, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results from samples collected at the project's Giant pegmatite prospect with yields of up to 1.54% lithium oxide, while rock chips taken at the BFG pegmatite returned with elevated levels of lithium, the miner said in the filing.
Shares of Kali Metals fell 4% in recent trade.
