1012 GMT - Heineken's investors will be paying attention to Vietnam's performance at the company's first-half earnings as the region continues to beat the extremely easy comparatives, Barclays analysts Laurence Whyatt and Mandeep Sangha say in a note. The Dutch brewer reported a 25% volume drop in Vietnam in the same period last year, the analysts say, and sector data is pointing to sales down 4% YTD, they say. "We suspect Heineken's sales will still be below the around 20% growth that this implies", they say. For the year as a whole, Barclays pinpoints organic sales growth in the region at 11.7%. In Latin America, performance is expected to be mixed given Brazil's decline in consumer confidence, while the weather and sport events are likely to help sales in Europe, they say. Shares are up 0.4%. (michael.susin@wsj.com)
