Surefire Resources (ASX:SRN) reported positive developments on both its flagship Victory Bore vanadium and iron ore project and its newly explored Unaly Hill magnetite deposit, according to a company filing with the Australian bourse.
The mineral explorer will continue talks with stakeholders to fast-track the Victory Bore project, including funding and product off-take partnerships.
Discussions have so far been positive and are crucial to complete a definitive feasibility study for a final investment decision, said Surefire CEO Jan de Jager.
Meanwhile, the company began a new metallurgical test work program at its 100%-owned Unaly Hill magnetite deposit in Western Australia. It found a significant potential to produce high-grade iron and titanium concentrates from this deposit following an in-house review of previous testwork, the filing said.
