City Chic Profitability Will Take Some Time -- Market Talk

Dow Jones06-26

2320 GMT - City Chic Collective will need time to return to profitability as it refocuses on its core market and customers, Citi analyst James Wang writes in a note. He tells clients that the women's clothing retailer is showing initial signs of a turnaround, but he wants to see improved sales momentum and a more efficient cost base before becoming more positive on the stock. Wang cuts his earnings forecasts to align with City Chic's guidance following its divestment of most of its U.S. business. Citi cuts target price 75%, to A$0.16 and lowers its recommendation to "neutral" from "buy." Shares are at A$0.13 ahead of the open. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
