Luk Fook Holdings (International) (HKG:0590) recorded a 38% rise in attributable profit for the year ended March 31 to HK$1.77 billion from HK$1.28 billion a year prior, a Friday bourse filing stated.
Earnings per share rose to HK$3.01 during the year from HK$2.19 in fiscal year 2023, according to the filing.
The retailer's revenue for the year rose by 28% to HK$15.33 billion from HK$11.98 billion during the year-ago period, mainly due to the low base effect and the recovery of the retailing business in Hong Kong and Macau.
The company proposed a final dividend of HK$0.64 per ordinary share for the year, payable on or around Sept. 4 to shareholders of record on Aug. 22.
