MRG Metals Concludes Phase Two Drilling at Zimbabwe's Shawa Carbonatite Mining Licenses

MRG Metals (ASX:MRQ) concluded a phase two drilling program at the Shawa carbonatite mining licenses in Zimbabwe, the miner said in a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The phase two of ground exploration was carried out on the 10 Wickbury mining licenses on the Shawa carbonatite complex, the filing said.

The exploration work returned highly anomalous portable XRF results from 376 outcrop and 670 soil samples, with phosphorous up to 48,405 parts per million, strontium up to 8,076 ppm, iron up to 632,512 ppm, barium up to 248,970 ppm, and niobium up to 427 ppm, it said.
