Automotive manufacturer Seres Group (SHA:601127) is planning to acquire trademarks and related patents held by Huawei Technologies for 2.5 billion yuan.
The deal comprises 919 registered or pending text and graphic trademarks such as Wenjie and 44 related design patents, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The transaction price is due for payment before Dec. 30.
Seres Group shares were down about 1% in recent trade.
