Seres Group's (SHA:601127) new energy vehicle sales in June soared 372% year on year to 44,126 units, according to the company's filing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The Chinese automobile maker's NEV output recorded a year-on-year surge of 419.5% to 43,051 units.

For the first six months of the year, the company sold 200,949 NEVs and produced 203,925 NEVs, skyrocketing 348.6% and 349.2%, respectively, from the prior year, the Tuesday filing added.

Shares of the company dropped less than 3% in recent trade.
