Constellium SE suspended operations at its facilities in Sierre and Chippis in Switzerland following flooding from the Rhone River.

The aluminum products company said cleaning operations have begun. Constellium said it is unable to assess the extent of the damage or determine when production will restart.

The company will work with customers and suppliers to identify mitigation plans and will optimize all capacity available within its industrial platform.
