Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise in Wednesday Trading

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were higher in Wednesday trading, rising 1.04% to 2,008.61 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by live game-streaming platform DouYu International (DOYU) and automotive ecommerce platform TuanChe (TC), which surged 35% and 15% respectively. They were followed by live game-streaming platform HUYA (HUYA) and internet and data center services provider VNET Group (VNET), which climbed 9.7 and 7.6% respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by pet-focused platform Boqii (BQ), which fell 12%. It was followed by financial services company Dunxin Financial (DXF) and wealth management firm Noah (NOAH), which declined 2.7% and 2.3% respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by biotech firm ASLAN Pharmaceuticals (ASLN), which rose 2.3%. It was followed by tech group Sea (SE) and pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which were up 1.3% and 0.8% respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by IT firm Sify Technologies (SIFY) and financial services company HDFC Bank (HDB), which lost 8.1% and 0.7% respectively. They were followed by IT firm Wipro (WIT), which was off 0.3%.
