South Korean battery materials firm EcoPro (KOSDAQ:086520) plans to invest a total of 2 trillion won in the Pohang Blue Valley national industrial complex over five years, Pulse News reported Thursday.
The industrial complex will include new technologies that are both eco-friendly and enhance productivity. EcoPro also plans to apply these advancements to its production facilities in Canada and Hungary, the report said.
Shares of Ecopro rose more than 1% at market close.
