Paris Olympics Putting Pressure on Air Travel in Europe -- Market Talk

0822 ET - Air France and KLM have noted that projected unit revenues are coming under pressure for the summer due to the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris, Raymond James analyst Savanthi Syth says in a research note. Traffic to and from the French capital are lagging behind other major European cities, the analyst says. International markets are showing significant avoidance of Paris, and French residents seem to be postponing their holidays until after the games or coming up with alternative travel ideas, Syth says.
